On October 17h I went with my class to Sursok Museum, it takes place in Beirut Achrafiye .
I had a lot of fun there. I learned a lot of new information about the environment, the pollution of the water and the history of some places in Lebanon.
My favourite artwork was about recycling, it was called Gaspillage by Marwam RICHMAOUI.
It's about recycling bottles, cans, cardboards and trunks, and assembling a huge number of each on of them in form of a cube.
It was amazing ,very interesting and entertaining.

Trip to Sursock museum by Omar Naja
On Monday 17th of October 2016,
my class and I went to the “Environment Exhibition” at Sursock museum, as part
of the project E.P.I that we are working on during the English, French, Arabic,
and Science classes. This exhibition shows us how humans are affecting and destroying
the environment. The artworks show us how we are destroying Earth and how it’s
going to become if we continue this way. My favorite artwork is “Spectrum” by
Monica al Quadiri because it shows us how some things looking beautiful can
destroy the environment. In my opinion, this trip was very enlightening and instructive
because we have learned how we can build a better future.

Review about the Sursock museum by Léa Tannir
The Sursock museum was built in 1912, and used to belong to Nicolas Ibrahim Sursock who lived there.
The palace was lately turned into a museum and currently displaying works of art about the environment and importance of recycling. The exhibition is truly creative and spectacular to see. My favorite was"Waste"by Marwan Rechmaoui about recycling. It's about four cubes made of plastic, tires, carton and aluminum. All made of recycled materials. He really turned garbage into art. Visiting this museum made me realize that we are polluting our environment and damaging it, while we can recycle our garbage and turn it into an opportunity.
I hope that the majority of the Lebanese people will have the chance to visit this museum and benefit from it.

TRIP To SURSOCK MUSEUM
Monday, October, 17 2016, we went to visit the Sursock Meseum located in the centre of Beirut .
We left school at 9:35 and got back at 11:50. It is a modern art and contemporary museum which
opened its doors in 1961. One arrived a guide has presented some works of the Meseum and guided
us throughout the visit. Of all works, the only one that took my attention was that of Marwan
Rechmaoui who was called. " WASTE ". He made 4 sculptural cubes from plastic bottles and caps ,
aluminum cans, rubber, tires and wavy cardboard. Each sculptural was made from materials used
In our daily life . In my opinion, the visit was very usefull and fun, and answers many questions
about the concept of "Waste".

Sersok museum by Tala Koussa
On Monday ,October 17 , 2016 we went me and my friends from school to Sersok's meseum . In order to sensitize us to the environment . There was a lot of exiting projects , but the one which draw my attention was the project of Marwan Rechmaoui named waste . He wants to show us how we can recycle in a creative way .It was four cubic sculptures made of plastic bottles and caps , aluminium bottles , wheels , cartons. I think this project is fantastic to a country like Lebanon . Instead of wasting these matters why we don't creat new ideas like Marwan Rechmaoui?
